A. Smith
I am new to v 9 (just got it today). i watched the zones podcast and have been playing around. Can someone explain to me why the details window keeps showing up as a separate workspace, rather than a zone (as, from the podcast, it seems it should?). I've attached a picture of the workspace to show what i mean. accordance workspace.tiff
Joel Brown
My guess would be that there isn't room to create it as a zone. The only vertical space is in your map column, but that may be too narrow. Since there is no room for a zone, it creates a separate window. You may need to check your preference setting which controls how many zones Accordance can create (this setting does not limit, however, the number of zones you manually create). From the file menu, select Accordance: Preferences. Under the General pane, you can set the default maximum number of zones. Looking at your screenshot, you need this to be set to at least 6 in order for Accordance to create a new zone for the instant details. Or, as Joel indicates above, you don't have enough space. A. Smith
Thanks very much. Im not sure which it was (space or preferences), but I got it working. I've got to say, I LOVE v9. The search all features, my groups and zones are awesome!
