Different translations of a greek word.

Hi,

I am pretty new to accordance and have a question about how to do something. I was curious how different Bibles translate a Greek word. This is specially useful to me since English is not my first language, but God has put me in a position where I have to teach and preach in English. Thanks to Helen, who spend some of her precious time the first day of the year helping me solve some of my questions, I learned how to somewhat accomplish this using the strong keys. I do like that approach, but there are some words that I am missing. This is because in Greek I can do a root search and get several variances that I would have missed if I used a particular number. Here is my question.

Is there a way to get all the Strong Keys out of a root search of a word? (In that way I can use the Strong keys and find all the ways a word is translated into a particular version)

Is there a way to accomplish this without using Strong Keys?

If any Accordance developer is reading this, first, let me thank you for all this extra time and effort you put to make Accordance available for the iOS the last day of the year. I know many of you sacrificed family time during a very important holiday. Thanks!

Also, let me ask if it the idea of highlighting secondary resources based on results of a primary resource has been ever come up. I am specifically thinking on Bible searches. May be this could be accomplished using the Strong Keys of the highlighted results. This could make comparing different translations a lot easier. I am specially thinking of Hebrew (I should have pay more attention to those classes). Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,

Victor Gutierrez

Ms. Brown,

Thanks. I found that topic and was able to participate in the discussion. I believe that it is not possible to accomplish what I was trying to accomplish. I was not sure of the "Forum etiquette" and whether it was ok for me to point others to a similar post (which was created later) but didn't answer the specific question I had. Again, Thank you very much.

Sincerely,

Victor Gutierrez
