Difficulty selecting verse notes

I've found a situation where it is difficult to access user notes.

 

I felt that Georgia 18 was too large, so I reduced the font size to 16 points. At this size, I've found that it's impossible to access the user notes directly for Genesis 1:1. Whenever I tap and hold on the verse reference, Accordance always insists on displaying the search window; apparently because the entire top bar is a search button instead of just the search button area.

 

IMHO, the best way to solve this is to make only the Search button active for accessing the search feature.
