Blessings to all!

This is my first post, and I'd like to use this opportunity to first and foremost express my gratitude to everyone that is on Accordance Staff, and say THANK YOU for wonderful and monumental work that you are doing for the Kingdom! Thank you for the wonderful support, for fantastic modules, for amazing podcasts, the list goes on - please keep surprising us, or should I say keep spoiling us :)

I have two questions.

1. Are there any plans in releasing a NICOT/NICNT if yes, how soon can we anticipate such a great addition to Commentary modules, in Accordance.

If yes, will there be an option of buying only some single modules of our choice instead of a whole set?

2. I would greatly appreciate hearing from forum members your feedback on the subject of Dictionaries. Which would in comparison be the best single volume Bible Dictionary (IYHO) - on the cheaper side - like for example: Eerdmans vs. Holman vs. Unger's? Any suggestions, evaluations OR would you suggest to save, wait and buy ZEB instead?

Thank you!

I would definitely save up for the ZEB! If you wanted to get something in the mean time, I would strongly suggest the IVP Essential Reference Collection. There's a great podcast highlighting the reasons why this is such a great first addition to an Accordance base package.

The NIC is currently being developed. We are making good progress, but are not ready to announce an expected date for release.

Thanks for being a part of the Accordance community. :)

It depends on the perspective you want. Holman and Unger's are both very conservative. Eerdmans is a more progressive/critical/scholarly work.

I'm hopeful that Accordance will develop a HarperCollins Bible Dictionary module in the near future since the HC was just updated this year. Eerdmans (2000) is getting a little dated.

Thank you all for your inputs, suggestion and clarifications.

@ Mikes, thank you I do have IVP Essential, but agree with you on ZEB in order to dig deeper!

@ RickBennett, thank you, glad to hear that NIC is under development!

@ AdamR, thank you for shedding more light on the differences between the Dictionaries!
