Tim Beilharz
Hi there. I've just bought and downloaded Accordance Premier Scholar's Collection onto both my laptop and desktop computers. When I attempt to create and edit User Notes on my laptop Accordance crashes, however I have no trouble on my desktop. The error message is: "An attempt to read or save data beyond the end of the file "John 3" has failed". If the user notes do open, then any attempt of updating or saving the notes crashes the program. My laptop runs on Leopard 10.4.11, while my desktop is newer and is running Snow Leopard 10.6.6. Is this the problem? Is there anything other than updating the OS that I can do to fix this? Thanks in advance Tim
Helen Brown
The file may be corrupt, but so may the preferences. You can first try deleting the User Notes file from User/Library/Preferences/Accordance Preferences, and adding back your Notes files. If that fails, try creating a new Notes file and merging the old one into it. If that fails, you can zip up and send me the Notes file itself (from your Documents folder). Tim Beilharz
I deleted the file from the preference folder and created a new User Note in the program which appears to be loading and saving fine. Thanks! Tim
