Calvin Lindstrom
I upgraded to Accordance 9.3 yesterday. No problems. I have since shutdown my computer and restarted. Now I am experiencing a problem with pasting from Accordance into Word. Let me give an example. I was pasting a portion of 1 Kings 19:11 (NET) version into Word. This portion of 1 Kings 19:11 has the word LORD in all capital letters. When I paste into Word and now even here, I get the whole first part of the text up to the word LORD all in capital letters. For example, "A VERY POWERFUL WIND WENT BEFORE THE LORD, digging into the mountain and causing landslides." I never have noticed this problem before. Are you seeing this same problem? Joel Brown
I can confirm this, thanks for reporting it. We'll fix it for 9.3.1.
R. Mansfield
I can confirm this, thanks for reporting it. We'll fix it for 9.3.1. Joel, I ran across the same problem yesterday, but I noted that when I copied as a citation, the text was not capitalized. I'm not certain if that bit of information will help in tracking down the bug, but I wanted to let you know.
Calvin Lindstrom
I seem to be having this problem again now in 9.3.2. Has anyone else noticed?
David Padfield
Calvin, I posted a similar notice yesterday so our good friends at Accordance are now aware of the problem and I'm sure they will have a fix for us real soon. The problem is not just with MS Word -- I had the same problem when pasting into Apple Keynote and Apple Pages.
Calvin Lindstrom
I have noted that the problem seems to depend on what module you are pasting from. I have especially noticed the problem using WBC and Tyndale Commentary.
Buck
Glad to see this is being addressed. I'm running 9.3.2 and having issues (capital letters) pasting into Pages.
Ed Heckman
I'm also seeing a version of this. I tried copying a passage from NASB95S into my web browser. I had copied it using Copy as Citation. When I pasted it, everything was in lowercase. Using normal copying did it right, but I had to clean out all the verse numbers and note indicators. I hope this gets fixed sooner rather than later cause this one is a bit rough to handle.
Helen Brown
A fix for all the copy issues is in the works, won't be long now. So sorry for the extra hassles.
Tom Wagler
A fix for all the copy issues is in the works, won't be long now. So sorry for the extra hassles. For whatever it's worth, I am unable to copy anything from certain modules using the straight copy command. When I copy as citation, it copies but pasting is limited. For ex.- I can use command + V, but Command+Option+shift+V will only give the cited resource and not the actual copied material. Robert N
I experienced this copy problem today myself. I did get the text, but it was preceded by many rectangular boxes and other unintelligible characters. For whatever it's worth, I am unable to copy anything from certain modules using the straight copy command. When I copy as citation, it copies but pasting is limited. For ex.- I can use command + V, but Command+Option+shift+V will only give the cited resource and not the actual copied material.
