Robert N
How can I search for just the word aleph tav preceded and followed by spaces and not the maqqef? I would also like to know how to find the occurrences of a single letter like "a" and receive the number of "a"s the number of words that have an "a" and the number of verses that have an "a". THnak you in advance for your help. http://www.accordancebible.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif
Helen Brown
Accordance does not distinguish between a space and maqqef, so there is no recourse on that part. To find the a character anywhere, search for period-a, i.e. .a. This will give you the number of hit words and hit verses but not the actual number of the character a. Robert N
Thank you... I was hoping to be able to do the equivalent of a grep search and maybe even some equal distant letter research. Perhaps this is something I can request for the future? Robert
