Is there a well fitting way to read a book in General tool, such as The Imitation of Christ, chapter by chapter each day?

The only way is to use one of these methods to go back to where you were last time:

 

1. Set Preferences: General: Startup session to Last session

2. Save a workspace with the book at the position at which you ended the reading, then remember each day when before you close Accordance to use Save as to updatre this workspace. next day you can reopen the workspace when you want to continue the reading.
