Part of verse not displaying...

I was reading Acts 2:17 in several versions and noticed a difference that part of the verse wasn't displaying....

Here is the Accordance NKJV using copy and paste...

Acts 2:17 "And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,

That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;

Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,

Your young men shall see visions,

Your old men shall dream dreams.

Here is the Blue Letter Bible NKJV...

Act 2:17'And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.

Here is the Accordance NKJV taken with a screen snapshot...

Notice that the "to" after the "come" and before the "pass" is not visible in the screen snapshot. Is this a bug or are my settings the cause?

Here is a snapshot of the entire screen...

Wow! That's odd, Robert.

I checked the NKJV in my copy of Accordance this morning. The passage displays perfectly, "to" and everything else.

I can't imagine why it isn't displaying in yours. I also can't open the screenshots you saved.

I guess I'll leave this one to those more technically qualified than I.

I use the standard shift+control+command+4 key sequence to copy the screen and the standard command+V to paste it. It appears to paste fine, but when I go back to look at the post it is not there. I wonder if there is a away to set the pasting format (.png or .gif or .jpg or whatever). Perhaps the format I am pasting in is not compatible with the blog...?

I don't believe you can paste directly into the post window on these forums. You should do Shift-Command-4 to save it to the desktop, then Attach it to the post. Related to your question, I am also not sure what is missing, as my copy of Accordance has all of the words.

It wasn't that the text was missing. It was not displaying the " to " in the configuration. The funny thing about pasting the images from the clipboard into the Forum editor is that they look like the paste worked. They actually display in the editor. However, when I close the editor and look at the post they are references to .tiff files, which is also strange because the command+shift+4 creates .png files on my desktop. Its a bit confusing. I was able to see one of the screenshots so I used command+shift+4 to create a .png file on the desktop which I am attaching...

Notice that the display of the "to" after "come" is absent. This is what the post is about. I was just trying to replicate the problem but cannot at this point so maybe is a rare conjunction of circumstances. Anyway, without a way to reproduce the problem the can't run this down so this post is virtually useless in my opinion. I would delete if I knew how. Regardless, I would like to thank you all for reading it and trying to help. If I run across it again I am wondering wha I should do differently to preserve the situation (I think I have a handle on preserving a screenshot now). Thank you again.

There is a bug that we cannot replicate that cuts off the last word in a line, depending on the font, size, pane width, etc. Maybe this is what you experienced.
