Adam Szymanski
A friend of mine and I recently purchased Accordance. We're both hammering away on papers and are really thankful for the software! Thank you! One thing we both have been wondering. Is there a way to break out a 'tab' within a workspace? The goal is to have the same translation, side-by-side, and be able to read from two portions of the text, without having the scrolling bound to each other. Right now, the only way we have figured out how to do this is to create two workplace windows and squeeze them side-by-side. We were thinking of somehow opening up a side window like the reference window. Is this possible? Thank you. -Adam.
Timothy Jenney
Hi, Adam! Congratulations—and welcome to Accordance. The easiest way to do what you want is to transform the tab into its own zone (zones scroll separately, unlike parallel texts). Just click the tab title and drag it elsewhere on the workspace. The region will turn dark, indicating the zone it will occupy. Enjoy!
Adam Szymanski
Nevermind, Got it. Click 'tab', drag to empty space near tab. Then, click header and move to the right. Yup. Perfect. Thank you. Is there a way for me to mark this post as 'resolved'?
