User tool update asking to navigate to user file

I am now using the User tool feature in Accordance 9.3.3(pre-release) to write my sermons.

I have found that after editing and then clicking the update button, at the bottom of the tool window, Accordance asks me to navigate, in a finder window, to where the correct user tool file is.

Is this normal or is there a way that I don't have to navigate to the file in finder?

Just to note the user tool is located in documents/accordance files/user tools

Thanks

Ben

This is very unusual. I would need to screenshare to figure out why.

Hi,

I think I've found the solution.

My title for the user tool was "05/06/2011 Exclusion and Embrace" first the date and then the title (named after Miroslav Volf's Book by the same name).

I think it was the date at the beginning that caused the confusion. I deleted the numbers and then removed the module from the Library window. Added the renamed title (with no numbers at the beginning) and it worked. No navigating to the user tool file in finder.

So there you go.

I would guess it was the slashes in the date, not entirely acceptable in Apple file names anymore.

So maybe best to stick to -hyphens-?

Or a space (e.g. 06 01 2011).
