TCanji
Study Bibles are on sale this month - thank you Accordance!!! Honestly, I am interested (and surely not alone), to hear from the great community of Accordance users, which Study Bible/s you already own, and which ones are you targeting this month and why? I only suppose that most of us have at least one SB module. I also believe that diverse answers - pro et contra - might help those who are contemplating on a very simple and straightforward question -- do I really need another SB?! On the other hand, there will possibly be those who will make a first time purchase this month and would appreciate an insiders help! On Amazon there's a whole spectrum of comments regarding SB: from excellent to truly disappointing, even biased. Personally, I'd like to hear more from the Accordance community I own two great multi-tools ESV and Archaeological ... not enough?! So, IYHO which is/are the best Study Bibles, Accordance has to offer and which ones you would recommend for this excellent sale in June? If you have a Study Bible that you really like and use most often - why not vote? Your vote may proof to be a real blessing, especially to first time buyers. Thank you! Just curious which Study Bible might be our winner. Blessings, Tomi BTW: every few days there will be profiling of a different Study Bible on Accordance Blog -- thank you Darin. Greg Terry
I own several Accordance Study Bibles: Jewish Study Bible NLT ESV Thompson's Life Appl NIV Ryrie I would say that the list above is ranked in order of preference for me. I find that there are two I use more than the others: NLT & Jewish. Whenever I study the Hebrew Bible, I use the JSB. The insights available in that module are quite good. Elsewise, the NLT is my goto SB for a quick look at a particular passage or issue. Quite honestly, at the prices they are available for Accordance, one should pick up as many as possible. A SB is a good inexpensive addition to any library. Just my thoughts.
Tim Hall
I have the following study bibles in Accordance: ESV SB Apologetics SB Ryrie Life Application SB NIV New SB NIV Student Bible My 'goto' Study Bible is definitely the ESV SB, with Apologetics coming in second. I typically use these Study Bibles as a leaping off point for my studying as they provide a great overview of the passage in question.
Jeremy Brannon
Study Bibles are also great in tandem with other commentaries. I have had the privilege of working on Accordance's version of the Archaeological Study Bible as well as some others (ESV, NLT). I use ESV and NLT the most, personally, but more specialized tools such as Archaological Study Bible could be consulted for quick reference before digging in deeper to other background resources (ZIBBCOT, ZIBBCNT, Anchor). Likewise with Apologetics Study Bible, before other resources of its ilk (Bible Difficulties). If the price on commentaries is a bit too rough on the budget, sometimes a specialized Study Bible might be a practical purchase.

I'd also like to add that these are great modules for your iPhone/iPad. Sermons being what they are, I often listen to the speaker while flipping back and forth between my SBs on my iPhone. I find the variety of insights very helpful. Since SBs are usually more biased than the more academic works, the contrasts are sharper.
Greg Terry
After further thought, changed my vote from NLT to the Jewish Study Bible. I really appreciate the wealth of knowledge presented in it. This is a very tough question with the lineup of quality Study Bibles available.
David Voth
I'm using the Life Application Study Bible as I read through the Bible. The NIV Study Bible is another one I have, which I've had since I began using Accordance. David
