Guntis
Hi, I'd like to find and highlight any repeating words in a given range, be it noun, verb, or adjective. Maybe even dividing search into these three categories. For example, in 1Kings 19 I see that even whole sentences repeat, and also some words. Is there any syntax I could use to search such repeating words in a range? (could be based on the English text, or could be based on the Hebrew/Greek keys)
Lorinda H. M. Hoover
Guntis, If you define the range you want to search (say 1 Kings 19) in the pop-up range finder, and then select it, you can enter [COUNT 2-100] In the Search box, and run the search. Then use the Details button and you can see the break-down of repeated works. Of the top of my head, I can't tell you how to modify it for Key numbers, although I'm sure it's possible. I do this a lot in Greek and Hebrew. The Greek search syntax I use is [COUNT 2-100] @-([ARTICLE] ,[CONJUNCTION] , [PREPOSITION], [PARTICLE], [PRONOUN]) (everything after the the @- rules out really common "small" words) Lorinda
