Unable to update

I am using Accordance 9.4.1, and Check for Updates correctly identified that there is an update, 9.4.2. When I clicked on the download button, the "Downloading accordance" window opened, but eventually indicated that the "Internet connection timed out". So I tried updating via the web site. The update black window appeared and the process appeared to continue through to a conclusion. However, nothing had been downloaded. This is true when I use Safarai and also when I use Chrome.

My computer is an iMac running OX 10.7.1. I have also tried on my Macbook Air, also running OX 10.7.1 without success.

I assume that any downloaded update would be a title beginning acc, and I have searched for this

Thank you for the response.

I went to the page entitled "Downloads: Program Installers" and clicked on 9.4.2 OS X installer.dmg (45 MB).

The screen turned black, and the downloading process continued, but it ended with the statement "Plugin failure" on the screen. (This didn't happen last time.)

Does this clarify?

It does, but it is working for me and everyone else. I use Firefox but tested on Safari as well. The Acc9.4.2_install.dmg downloads just fine. Perhaps you want to restart the Mac? test other sites?

For information, I have successfully downloaded the Accordance update, using Opera as a browser. In response to Helen's suggestion, I had restarted my Mac; indeed I tried over three days (with shutdowns in between) and it still will not load the update from the program. Other pieces of software updated successfully. I also rebooted the router in case that was the problem.

It would be interesting to know why it didn't work, either through the programme itself or through Safari and Firefox. However, the fact that Opera worked may be of help to someone suffering the same experience.
