Wrong Text Displays in Instant Details

I have a User Notes file with several Scripture links. For some reason, in both panes and separate tabs, when I hover over a Scripture link, the translation displayed in the Instant Details is the REB, despite the fact that I have the User Notes Tab Preference for Default Text set to NRSVS. I've tried changing that setting. I've tried Command-T, but it does nothing (it is greyed out in the menu). I have searched every preferences pane and found no place where I have set the translation to REB.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

There are no preferences to set for User Notes. The text linked to is the text in the Notes order pop-up menu on the tab itself. This menus also determines the verses and order of the notes displayed. Sorry, User Notes is an older feature and has does have some quircks whoch were intended to add more power to the Notes, but do set them apart from other features.

Thanks, Helen. I did, indeed, have the text order set to REB, in the text tab, a detail I had missed--in fact I'm not sure how it happened.

What really confused me is that there IS a Preference Pane labeled "User Notes Tabs," and it does include a preference for the default text for new User Notes tabs. But that setting does not get invoked when I amplify to a new User Notes tab. It only works, I see now, when I open a new User Notes tab without amplifying. I think I see why this is so, but it is rather confusing. I had also missed the "Notes order" drop-down in the Notes tabs until just now, which made things even more frustrating for me.
