Dennis Miller
Is it possible to perform a reference search when looking at an entry in the BDAG/HALOT display. In another bible program after accessing the word you want to view in the BDAG you can further find the exact reference listed in the entry that corresponds to the the text you are researching. I hope that makes sense. It saves a lot of eye strain by trying to locate it by site. Some entries can be quite lengthy.
Levi Durfey
I don't have BDAG, but this should work: 1. Click on the "More options" disclosure triangle. 2. Change the box next to "AND" to "Scripture" 3. Type your reference and go! See screenshot:
Helen Brown
Actually, it's even easier now -- Preferences: General, and check the box to Include Scripture when Amplifying. This automatically highlights the reference in the correct article, if it exists, but finds the article anyway if there is no reference to it.
