Ron Priest
Every so often where I have notes on a verse contained in more than one note file, I see a multi-colored ribbon icon (Red and Blue on my Screen) instead of a arrow icon. What does that represent? Screen shot attached.
Joel Brown
The red circle represents that you have a user note entry for that verse. Double click it to see that note. The Blue Bookmark represents that the verse has been marked. This was either done manually (via an option-click) or more likely, it was done to mark where your hits are in the context of the entire passage. You can use the Mk buttons at the bottom to navigate through your marked verses.
mikes
What you're seeing is actually two icons overlaying each other. The red is a "there's a note on this verse" indicator. The blue is the "bookmark" or search result marker after amplifying.

The blue is the "bookmark" or search result marker after amplifying. Okay, thanks Joel and Mike. I was confused as to the fact that I didn't have any notes on some of those verses. I see now that both the bookmark and note is in the Sample Notes File. I need to delete this file as well as the Mobile Notes file. What is the mobile notes file for, just an example? I mean, there is no reason why I should create a separate "Mobile Notes" file for syncing to my iPad versus my regular notes files... right? So, how exactly do I delete a notes file? I mean I know I can simply delete it in Finder, but I'm thinking that's not the proper way to delete a note file from within Accordance. Also, is there an up-to-date accordance PDF manual I can download to use as a reference rather than having to see if there is a podcast available every time I need some help. Helen Brown
You delete any file in the Library window using Remove, as well as in the Finder. the Accordance Help files are constantly updated and offer systematice searchable help on all aspects of Accordance. You can access them from the Help menu, or go to the part matching your front tab orr window using Window Help in the Window menu.

I just discovered how to right click on the note file in the Library and remove it from Accordance. I also see that removing it, doesn't actually delete it from your Accordance folder when viewed in finder. That's good because I know if I ever wanted to add a "removed" note file back to my Accordance Library, all I need to do is double click on the note file from within Finder (as I can with any resource... right?) but, how would I add and old note file back to my Library from inside Accordance? I did try to find that in the help files, but didn't have any luck.
