JPark
What would be the necessary qualifications to prepare a text?
Ruben Gomez
Actually, why reinvent the wheel? The Louis Segond Version 1910 and the Nouvelle Edition de Genève (1975) have already been tagged with Strong's numbers. Permission to release these texts as Accordance modules could be sought if there was enough interest, right?
Helen Brown
We just need to know who owns the rights and can supply the etexts.

LuCouto
I've a text file with the tagged bible in French. Can I import a tagged text as a User Bible ?
Helen Brown
No this is not possible. It would be very hard to make an import feature for tagged Bibles.

ADD DIGNE
Hello everyone, I am a new Accordance user and I find it just great to study the bible. However as a native french locutor, I really miss french tagged texts and I strongly support Fabian for his request. I formerly used Online Bible for Mac and I appreciated the (free !!) LSG tagged for Strongs numbers linked with hebrew and greek lexicons as well as parsing informations ! Did Accordance tried to connect with the copyright holder mentioned by Fabian to see if he is willing to share his work. He freely proposes tons of french bible texts, commentaries, dictionnaries, etc... on the following website : http://www.123-bible.com/ ? Would it be possible, with its permission, to get them and adapt them to Accordance ? Please can you give me a glimpse what is planned for french speaking people ? 274 000 000 people around the world ! (https://www.francophonie.org/Estimation-des-francophones.html) Thank you for this great tool, hope that future developments will include our requests. GBU ! Sincerely.
justinjevans
I would also like to see this happen. I teach at a seminary in Belgium with programs in English and French. Our students would love to see more French resources offered in Accordance.
MattChristianOT
French is a bit of a hobby and I would love to see this as well. A great way to stay fresh (with impending PhD tests in research languages coming soon...)
Ronelh
I work with Bible translation in francophone Africa. I would like to see more French resources too, especially more French Bible versions: La Bible du Semeur, La Parole de Vie, Darby, Bible Jerusalem, Ostervald. So far the only French versions I've seen available are the Louis Segond 1910 with its three revisions (1978, 1979, 2007), which is great as far as it goes, but I'd like to have more, as it helps to have a broader overview of translators' renderings of difficult passages.
