Brett K.
I just tried using Copy as Citation in the NABRE notes module, and the bibliographic information does not appear with the copied text. I tried it several times by copying several different passages. Copy as Citation copied the highlighted text, but it did not add the bibliographic info. Any ideas? Greg Terry
Bible texts, to my knowledge, do not include a full bibliographic entry but just the translation name or abbreviation - depending on preference settings - along with the scripture reference. Someone else may have more insight, though
Brett K.
This is not a Bible text module. It is the notes module for the New American Bible Revised Edition. -- Brett
Greg Terry
Oops! Sorry missed that word, "notes". You are correct - no bibliographic info for the notes or the NABRE outline module. I tried a few other translation notes: the NRSVS and NIV11 notes do not have the bibliographic info either. Perhaps that is intended. However, the NET notes (which are in a whole other class of Bible translation notes) does have the bibliographic info.
Brett K.
Thanks for confirming. It would be cool if you could confirm the other problem I'm having as discussed in this thread. Thanks -- Brett
Rick Bennett
It's just an oversight on our part that probably affects most Bible notes, ie they aren't in the database that Accordance accesses to create the citation because Bible notes are typically limited and not often cited (NET and NABRE are exceptions). I can add it to the to-do list for an upcoming rev.
