Ruben Gomez
I think you just need law .? <AND> [RANGE rom] (2 hits in the KJV)
circuitrider
I think you just need law .? <AND> [RANGE rom] (2 hits in the KJV) Thank you for the reply. Your argument does indeed work to find verses that have a "?" immediately after law. With the search argument I suggested in my original post, more results come back because the "?" can be anywhere after law. Those are the results I think I am getting, anyway. What I am after is any question Paul asks in Romans with "law" in it. Thanks again for your tip, I did learn something from it.
Helen Brown
Your original search will indeed find all Verses with law followed by a question mark. You can set the field to Sentence instead of Verse to be sure that the question mark is in the same sentence.

I was glad to get the extra tip about setting the field to Sentence, however when I did that I received an error that "Character searches are supported only while searching with the 'Verse' field." Sean R.
Seems this basic search (searching for punctuation) isn't possible in one of the other professional grade Bible software programs. Accordance certainly provides the most robust search capabilities. http://blog.logos.com/2012/04/logos-4-all-the-questions-in-the-bible/
