Ben
Hi. When I launch Accordance (9.6.4), I get the following error message when my default workspace loads: "The entry "9" cannot be found.' I had a look through all my open modules to see whether any where set to search for "9" in a context that would produce that error, but I can't find one. Any ideas? Thanks. Ken Simpson
Hey Ben B! Good to see you on the fora! (yeah, yeah, it's forums, i know, like it's mouses, not mice) Recreate your default workspace is my suggestion. Occasionally you'll get a corruption, and it seems to think that there are texts that have weird names. So, let's say your default workspace is named "MyWS" Go to Documents/Accordance Files and you will probably find the workspace as file just lying loose in the folder. Move it out (say on to your desktop) and restart accordance. It should not give you that error now, but you can rearrange your workspace the way you like it, and then save it. In Accordance Preferences, in the General section you'll see "Startup" and "Set my default session". Click the Set my default session and select your newly created saved workspace file and all should be well. Give me a call if there are other probs, my mob is 0407625776. (P.S. I have my Skype on today too...simmo42) Ss you Edited August 11, 2012 by Ken Simpson
TCanji
Similarly to Ben I'm encountering the infamous warning that - The entry "9" cannot be found! However, not during the launching of Accordance (as was the case with Ben), but only when I am searching for a Bible reference/verse, in particular Amos 9 - mission impossible! Btw I tried "the hack" that Ken kindly pointed out, but unfortunately it did not work for me. Anyone having the same issue? Anyone with a word of wisdom? Thanks. Joel Brown
This is an unfortunate bug that only applies to Amos 9. We'll be posting a fix soon, but in the meantime, you can always display the entire book of Amos and jump to chapter 9.
TCanji
Thanks Joel for a swift reply ... now we're are talking ... my burden if lifted ! Thank you for confirming that, since I came to same conclusion this weekend while working my way out and "digging deep" to Amos 9 ... but was really taken by surprise when faced with a warning. I'm surely glad - along with the rest of us "spoiled users" - to hear that it's a bug and that we can anticipate a soon fix. Great news indeed. Thanks ... to you and to the rest of amazing Accordance Team! Edited August 15, 2012 by Tomi
Ben
Thanks, Ken. Rebuilding my OT workspace seems to have done the trick. I thought I'd do NT and OT one at a time, given they've got tons of panes/tabs etc that I've kind of lost track of!
