Need to revalidate every time Accordance starts up

Since updating to Accordance 9.6 last week, the Setup Assistant has appeared every time I start up, requiring me to revalidate Accordance. I have now upgraded to version 10.0.1, but this behaviour has not changed.

The Setup Assistant accepts either my Unlocking Code or my online account details for validation, and then produced the following error message:

'The location of file ".fdr54j38a" has changed (or it has been deleted) since Accordance accessed this file the last time.'

After pressing Okay, I am able to Continue, and the Setup Assistant indicates that setup is now done; however, the process is repeated every time Accordance starts up.

If it helps, I am still running OS 10.6.8. My hard drive was also replaced recently, but this behaviour only emerged subsequently.

Any solutions?

Thank you!

You need to find the folder named Accordance in Library/Application Support. (It may be in the hard drive Library or the user Library, and to see the latter on Lion/ML you can press option as you open the Go menu.)

Get info on the Accordance folder from the File menu, unlock the permissions at the bottom, set it to give your user read/write permission, and then click the gear menu to apply those permissions to all enclosed contents.

This is a common problem after migrating or restoring from backup, especially on Lion+.

Thank you so much! It worked immediately (of course). Clearly the issue stemmed from the hard drive replacement.
