Just to say that I really enjoy reading the bible in Kindle on the iPad because of the layout of the text in two columns (see screenshot). I'd love to have this view in Accordance, both in the desktop and on my iPad. It just makes it so much easier to read on screen for me.

Can Accordance emulate this 'book view' already? is it something I've missed?

I use Olive Tree reader on my iPad at times and love the 2-column view. Would be awesome if Accordance could do something similar. Perhaps in conjunction with a "page-based" view / page-flipping?

OK count me in as well…

“Teach the way of God in Accordance” (Matt 12:14, NIV-Accordance edition)
“Those who live in Accordance (with the Spirit) have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.” (Rom 8:5, NIV-Accordance edition)

I would dearly love this as well, as I use a keyboard folio with my iPad so its default propped-up position is on its longer side rather than its shorter side.

However, perhaps the two-column view can't happen in the scrolling mode, but rather the as-yet non-existent page-by-page mode? Maybe a way around this is to include an option to reduce the column width of the text, just as in the desktop version.

I saw that this request is also as the “turning pages” a long-awaited desire from many Accordance iOS users. I am also looking forward to see very soon both futures incorporated in the iOS, for reading the Bible on my iPad more easily :-)

Please make this two futures a reality in your next iOS update!!!
