comparing different passages in GNT-T

If you are wanting to compare the synoptic gospels concerning the temptation of Christ here is one way:

Open your Library and select Parallels and then Gospels.

In the search box click on where is says reference and select Titles and type Temptation

Then where it shows the bible translation in use, click on it and select GNT-T.

Note that this is not the same as text comparison where it color codes and highlights the differences, but will show the synoptic text side by side for your review.

We've had requests to support text comparison in parallel panes, but we haven't been able to program it yet. There are more hurdles in this than other text comparison, as the parallel passages don't line up by verse. What you can do instead really depends on the type of comparison you want to. Visual highlighting comparison can only be done for the same verse between different texts. The Parallels tools that jfidel described are great for manual comparison of different pericopes within the same text. You could also do some grammatical or INFER searches to compare the generic languaged used between the two passages. But, again, it sorta depends on what you want to see.
