rcdeacon
I have done a simple search and I would like to compile a list of ONLY the reference(s) (not the verse itself) to a user note, for instance, I did a search for "new song" and I got 19 hits and I want to copy only the 19 references found to a user note attached to Revelation 14:3, is there a way to do that? Sean R.
Yes. Simply click within the pane displaying the results and press Command+A to select all the verses returned by your search. Next, select Edit: Copy As: Reference from the menu (or Control+click to bring up the contextual menu from which you can select the same option). When you paste into your User Note, you'll have only the 19 references.

Joe Weaks
Using Copy As/Reference is usually what you would want here. But, it's also good to note that you can display verse references only in a text pane. Under the menu Display/Set Text Pane Display, you can change Paragraphs or Separate Verses to References Only.
