Niddah 5:2 in T-Yeru-E

I was reading Matthew 13:31-32 about the mustard seed and saw a reference in NICNT about Niddah 5:2.

 

Since I have the Jerusalem Talmud, I clicked on the link but received an error saying I don't have MISH-N.

 

I assumed that the Jerusalem Talmud contains the complete Mishnah so I was surprised that I might also have to buy MISH-N as well.

 

Anyway, I went roaming through T-Yeru-E and found that its NIDDAH only goes from 1 to 4:7 with a duplicate chapter on 4. When I looked online, I saw that there are more chapters of NIDDAH. So, I referenced my hardcover copy of the Mishnah and it also includes Niddah 5 and onwards.

 

The T-Yeru-E has "YERUSHALMI NIDDAH CHAPTERS THREE AND FOUR" and then "CHAPTER FOUR: THE STRUCTURE OF YERUSHALMI NIDDAH". At this point, NIDDAH ends.

 

Is this an error with T-Yeru-E or is it a historical issue where chapters 5 onwards were never referenced in the Jerusalem Talmud?

There is evidence to suggest that the Palestinian Talmud Niddah tractate originally comprised 7 chapters. Unfortunately only 3 are preserved to us.

I'd imagine that any of the Mishnah we carry would include these chapters, not just MISH-N: http://www.accordancebible.com/search/search.php?q=mishnah

Talmud-N (English), T-BAV-EF (English), MISH-N (English), MISH-T (Hebrew), TOSEFTA (Hebrew) have Niddah 5:2.

 

T-BAV-F (Hebrew) does not have it yet.

 

T-YERU-E (English) does not, as Chuck already noted.
