Crossgrades are modules offered at a lower price to a customer with Accordance who already owns an electronic version of the same module on another platform. They are designed to encourage people who want to switch from another platform and who have already invested significantly in specific resources which are available on both platforms.

Crossgrades to multi-volume products require all volumes of the Accordance product to already be owned in the other platform. As with all upgrades, the special price is offered on the condition that the original software is not sold or given to anyone else. Note: No additional discounts or coupons of any kind can be applied to Crossgrade prices.

In order to receive any crossgrade prices you must first return this form to us, completed and signed.

For more information, see this release announcement for the first 5 volumes.

Butler calls these “sermon starters,” but they are far more than that. Each concentrates on a single Bible verse and contains an outline of 4 to 6 crisply alliterated sermon (or lesson) points as only John Butler can do. With each alliterated point, Butler offers us a paragraph or two of concentrated material. These are not full-blown sermons, but they are carefully written, containing only the distilled material that you will actually use.

Most speakers may wish to personalize the sermon starters and use their own illustrations and outlines. They simply need a “starter” and that is what these sermonettes are intended to be.

The Sermon Starter sermonettes are listed in the contents according to “book order” as listed in the Bible.

Each sermonette is from a one-verse text. The book develops each text with an outline, annotations and applications. Outlines are alliterated—a trademark of the author.

All Scripture used in this book is from the King James Version. Hebrew and Greek references are from the Hebrew and Greek MSS used for this translation.

  • Volume 1: In this volume, the texts are taken from every book of the Bible (100 texts from the Old Testament and 100 from the New Testament).
  • Volume 2: In this volume, the texts are taken from the Pentateuch and the Gospels (100 texts from the Pentateuch and 100 from the Gospels).
  • Volume 3: In this volume, the texts are taken from the Psalms, Acts, and Romans (100 texts from the Psalms and 100 from Acts / Romans).
  • Volume 4: In this volume, the texts are taken from every book of the Bible (100 texts from the Old Testament and 100 from the New Testament).
  • Volume 5: In this volume, the texts are taken from the Major Prophets (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel), the Epistles (1 Corinthians through Jude), and Revelation (100 texts from the Old Testament and 100 from the New Testament).
  • Volume 6: In this volume, all the Old Testament texts are from the Genesis and all the New Testament texts are from the Gospel of Matthew. (100 texts from the Old Testament and 100 from the New Testament).
  • Volume 7: This book is composed of 200 sermon starters like the other Sermon Starter books, but it is different in that it is organized according to special times e.g. Christmas and Easter (crucifixion, resurrection). Because of the subject matter of the book, some of the sermonettes will be found in other Sermon Starter books, though they are sometimes changed to fit better in this book.
  • Volume 8: This book is composed of 200 sermon starters organized into six subjects. The first 40 texts are about the subject of Salvation and the next 40 texts are about Service the third 40 texts are about the subject of the Scriptures and the next 15 texts are about the Supplication (Prayer) and the next 15 texts are about the subject of the Second Coming—both the rapture and the revelation. The final 50 texts are on Sundry (various) subjects. Because of the subject matter of the book, some of the sermonettes will be found in other Sermon Starter books, though they are often revised to fit better in this book.
  • Volume 9: In this volume, the texts are taken from every book of the Bible (100 texts from the Old Testament and 100 from the New Testament).
