The original Basics of Biblical Greek [BBG] offered instructors, students, self-learners, and home schoolers an entirely new, integrated approach to teaching and learning New Testament Greek. This third edition continues in that tradition, making use of feedback from professors, students, and home schooling moms and dads. BBG makes learning Greek a natural process, and shows from the start how an understanding of Greek helps in understanding the New Testament.

First published in 1993, Basics of Biblical Greek is the most popular introduction to the field, used in universities and seminaries around the world. Over 200,000 students have learned biblical Greek under its guidance. This significant third edition has been carefully developed in consultation with instructors, students, self-learners, and homeschoolers. Users can now take advantage to the many improvements made at the book’s website, www.Teknia.com, where they will find—for free—an online course, walking students through every chapter; vocabulary flashcards; video and audio helps; Greek fonts; quizzes for each chapter; fun songs and games; and much, much more. The third edition adds an element of fun, with encouragement, songs, and more. Chapter 35 has been split into two chapters, “half-time review” sections have been added to every chapter, and new exegesis sections are now included. These and other improvements serve to enhance the learning experience and will continue BBG’s legacy as the premier introduction to biblical Greek.

This Accordance edition includes linked audio clips to help the user properly pronounce each word and automatic links to search the Mounce Reverse-Interlinear New Testament and Dictionary (MOUNCE-NT) for the Greek word.

Hasn't been and is not going to be superseded, by that I mean also such as by a new Edition. Of course there are competing lines of Gk textbooks, videos but Zondervan has been in high esteem and most of the competing materials also seem fairly high priced for the equivalent core materials as of today.
I bought this book back in December 2015 forecasting that there wouldn't be another Edition.
IF a new Edition ever comes out, Accordance offers an upgrade path for the product as it will be clear that the new works builds on/updates this Edition with the bulk certainly unchanged.
In other words: Purchases under Accordance are stable, You won't loose ANYTHING. Even writing this review the computer mouse fell almost to the floor when I had written everything and was just about to post, and when I picked it up I as usual accidentally clicked to go back to the previous webpage, but as I clicked to go forward back to this page my not posted review was intact - having vouched now even for t ...

Competing Bible Study Software PLATFORMS will charge indiscriminately the whole price if ever a new Edition comes out, hence I haven't and don't even need to duplicate this resource.

Love this book. Very good for the student studying on their own. This electronic version in general though does not bring through emphasis used in the print 3rd ed. via italic and bold script. Note also that Accordance does not react like most web browsers do, such that if one left clicks on a foot note to take you to that footnote, do not try to use alt/left arrow to return you to where you were. You must in fact left click on the number at the beginning of a footnote to take you back to the page that references that footnote. Once having gone back to that invoking page be sure to left click someplace on that page if you plan to use the up and down arrows to scroll up and down. If you don't Accordance jumps to the front of the book when you then use one of those arrows. As I've only used Accordance to read BBG, such footnote support might not be unique to BBG.
