I’m curious though. The Bible is replete with genealogies and names of people and places great and small. Indeed, the book of Exodus - Shemot in Hebrew ( שְׁמוֹת)- literally means “Names.”

Is not His name Hashem (lit. The Name)?

What drew me to this resource was the ability to browse the names and have it draw me back into the stories and give me a deeper understanding of the time and context of those people’s lives. Not to worship ...
