This is an exceptional tool for several reasons:

1. Only the West Semitic Research Project has ever done this kind of work for Codex Leningradensis, so you won't find images of similar high quality anywhere else.

2. In addition to the high quality of the photographs, it’s nice to actually see the codex in color as well. All print editions with photographs of Leningradensis I know of and have previously used are in black and white. Granted, there might be a print edition out there I don’t know ...

All print editions with photographs of Leningradensis I know of and have previously used are in black and white. Granted, there might be a print edition out there I don’t know of where the pictures are in color - But being able to zoom without loss of quality makes this tool superior to any print edition.

3. It is now no longer necessary to travel all the way to St. Petersburg to see the manuscript in high resolution.

So kudos to Bruce and Kenneth Zuckerman from the West Semitic Research Project for taking and preparing these amazing pictures - and to Accordance for making this important resource available! Worth every dollar.
