mattsarahryan1
Hello, I am somewhat new to Accordance, but have managed to create a few user tools. I also realize the formatting is somewhat limited even when creating the tool within Accordance. However, even when I was just tabing to create indents, some of this became lost and didn't appear correctly when the text window where you type was closed and the screen returned to the general workspace. Additionally, it didn't appear perfectly in the IOS app either. Are there any fixes for this of tips?
Steve King
I tend to use tabs as little as possible. As you say they do not behave consistently. On a large user tool that is updated regularly I have found they can cause corruption so have removed them all from that and raised a bug report (https://www.accordancebible.com/forums/topic/22718-after-updating-user-tool-causes-accordance-to-crash/ ) If tabs would be an ideal way to organise something I tend to try and think of a different way of organising to get around the issue. Depending what it is you are doing the use of papers is another option although as yet they do not have the searching capabilities of user tools. Λύχνις Δαν
I did a lectionary tool where I had indented table-like lists of verses. I did that using a fixed width font and leading spaces, so the indentation was consistent. That seems to have held up ok over time. Tx D
