Every November, we exhibit Accordance at the annual meetings of the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS) and the Society of Biblical Literature (SBL). We typically unveil a whole host of new scholarly resources at those shows, which means we’re working feverishly throughout the month of October to pull all those releases together. Yet while the months leading up to November are generally frantic periods of development, we typically don’t release a lot of new modules during that time. From your perspective, this time of year could be regarded as something of a quiet season in which new product announcements are relatively few.

That’s far from the case this year. I’ve still only just begun talking about the new stuff in Accordance 9 and now we’re releasing a steady stream of extremely cool new modules. Just last week we released an update to John Piper’s Sermons and the long-awaited Journal of Biblical Literature, while this week you can expect several major new Zondervan releases. Next will be a collection of incredibly cool resources I can’t even talk about yet (but which I hinted about last week). Beyond that, there’s all the scholarly material we’re planning to release at ETS/SBL.

In short, you can anticipate lots of exciting announcements in the days ahead. During this year’s “quiet season,” expect us to make a lot of noise.
