We are very excited to announce that a special Scholars’ Edition of Accordance is now available in the Mac App Store.
Accordance has been the Mac Bible program par excellence since it was first released in 1994, and we’ve been adapting to changes in the Macintosh platform ever since. We’ve successfully transitioned through three processor changes (68K to PowerPC to Intel), we were the first Bible program to move from the classic Mac operating system to Mac OS X, we developed an iOS app which syncs with our Mac app, and now we’re supporting Apple’s new Mac software delivery method.
Our initial Mac App Store offering is a package designed to meet the primary needs of the serious Bible student, pastor, and scholar. It includes two English Bibles tagged with Strong’s numbers (ESVS and KJVS); other untagged Bibles in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish; the Greek New Testament and Hebrew Bible with full grammatical tagging; Thayer’s Greek lexicon; Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew lexicon; the Bible Knowledge Commentary; and more. It also includes a number of helpful workspaces designed to expose new users to how Accordance can help them in their studies.
