Keeping Up with Accordance: 11.0.8 (Win/Mac) & 2.2.2 (iOS)

In case you missed it, both our desktop and mobile versions of Accordance were updated this week. Here are the details.

This update brought minor improvements across the board, along with a slew of fixes.

The Info Pane pericope title can now be clicked to open the Outlines tool.
User Tools now use the My Places file to remember their last location.
User Notes “Note Order” now lets you choose which text to use for each corpus found in the note file.

When using Copy As References, if the pane is displaying the book names natively, so will the copy
Unnecessary whitespace around links in a user tool are automatically stripped
Changed unicode character used for the mark representing uncertain Hebrew letters
Library searches are now quote-agnostic, ignoring the difference between dumb (‘) and smart (’) quotes.
The Goto book chooser menu now opens to its currently selected book.
Using Option-tab to move focus to the pane now selects the top verse shown.
Clicking OK in the save confirmation of a User Notes Edit window will no longer open a User Notes tab if needed
Removed potentially redundant Check for Paid Updates listings.

To update your copy of Accordance 11.x to 11.0.8, run Check for App Update (Windows: Utilities menu; Macintosh: Accordance menu).
Accordance Mobile 2.2.2
This update, released today, fixes an issue that was causing some users’ installs to crash when launching the app. Go to the App Store on your iOS device to update to the new version.
