One of my favorite daily devotionals in my Accordance library is Daily Light on the Daily Path. I have read through this devotional every day for the past few years. I still find myself continuing to read through this devotional year after year, even if I do read another devotional along with it so that I can read a variety of daily devotionals over my years of personal quiet time with the Lord.
What keeps me reading Daily Light on the Daily Path is that the devotional includes a selection of Scriptures for each daily reading, with devotional Scripture readings for the morning and evening. It provides me with a concise way to read through a range of Scripture passages throughout the year, and many times I will choose to explore the context of various Scripture passages further, going deeper in my Bible study or into my Accordance library. Many days that I read the devotional, the Lord surfaces a Scripture passage I truly need for that day, touching my soul.
It is super-easy to make Daily Light on the Daily Path, or any devotional in Accordance, your preferred devotional. It is a simple adjustment in your Accordance Settings, then one-click from your main toolbar allows you to open the Daily Devotional view with your favorite devotional on the left-hand side and Scripture passages pertaining to your devotional on the right-hand side. Here are a couple of screenshots and a video illustrating how simple it is to set this up.
