Big Kittel Now Available

TDNT Complete-sm We are very pleased to announce the release of the unabridged Theological Dictionary of the New Testament, affectionately known as "Big Kittel." This ten-volume Greek lexicon is an English translation of the German Theologisches Wörterbuch Zum Neuen Testament, edited by Gerhard Kittel (hence the nickname). Accordance has long offered the condensed TDNT ("Little Kittel"), but the Big Kittel adds a wealth of information about word usage in periods other than the New Testament, along with far more biblical citations, bibliographic information, and "philological, archeological, and other supporting materials." Those looking to mine the depths of the unabridged lexicon can now do so with Accordance's speed and flexibility.

While you'll now be able to access Big Kittel with unprecedented speed, we admittedly didn't break any speed records releasing this module. We hoped to have it ready late last year, but discovered to our chagrin that the e-text we had received had serious errors we simply couldn't ignore. So we delayed the release indefinitely, rolled up our sleeves, and got to work bringing it up to the standards of quality you've come to expect. We appreciate your patience, and are confident you'll find the results well worth the wait.

Now through July 31, you can purchase the TDNT Complete for the special introductory price of just $199.99. You've waited long enough, so don't miss out on the initial savings.

This is superb resource with many editors. I think it is of note that Gerhard Kittel was a part of the German clergy who supported Hitler and that he authored theological work supporting anti-semitic Nazi policies and actions.

This is awesome! Bought the modal and love the details it offers - thanks OakTree!

Are there any plans on offering-releasing Bottlerweck's TDOT for Accordance in the future? Would really appreciate the unabridged modal.
