New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology, Abridged / November 25, 2003
An abridged edition of the New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology—written for those with a limited knowledge of biblical Greek.
This abridgment of Colin Brown’s original four-volume work is arranged with its entries in Greek alphabet order, which makes it easy to find the discussion of a particular word. All Greek words are transliterated into English and linked with their Goodrick/Kohlenberger numbers.
Previously titled The NIV Theological Dictionary of New Testament Words.

While i own the full and updated New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology and Exegesis which i find really useful, i often use the word tagging in a text which takes me to mounces expository dictionary. There the references point to either the nidnot (which i also have and value) or to this abridged version of the original nidnot. As it is unlikely that mounce will be updated to point to the newer greek lexicon, having this in my library means i can easily switch from mounce to a greek as well as a hebrew lexicon easily and for me. While this will never become my go to greek lexicon, having the resource that is linked to from mounce is the main value for me of having this resource in my library. Having said that, it is a great little lexicon.
