Theological Journals are a tremendous resource for Biblical studies. But copies of Theological Journals are difficult to find, impossible to buy, and even if you are fortunate enough to have a library of journals in print form, they take up lots of shelf space. Plus, finding the topic or Bible passage you are interested in is difficult, to say the least.

The Theological Journal Library combines 857 years of the best conservative, scholarly, evangelical journals and classic works on church history that allows you to rapidly search through all the titles for the words, phrases, authors, passages, etc. which you are interested in. It is an invaluable tool for everyone who studies, teaches or preaches Scripture. Published by Galaxie.

The Theological Journal Library is one of my favorite resources and I've used it heavily for years. If these journals were printed volumes, they would be dog-eared by now.

The advantage of having the Theological Journal Library available in an electronic format is clear. There are some electronic resources that simply make searching a little faster. Having these journals in an electronic format, on the other hand, allows you to do things that otherwise would be virtually impossible.

Think about it. Many of these journals are only to be found in the largest seminary libraries. Tracing the thread of scholarly conversation from one printed volume to another would be difficult at best, even with a yearly index, but searching the Accordance module is done with lightning speed, even on an iPad or iPhone.

Imagine the shelf space that would be required to hold the volumes of more than 30 different journals. Bibliotheca Sacra alone includes 169 volumes, beginning with volume 1 ...

In short, having this module gives me more research flexibility than even the best libraries can provide. I can't imagine doing research without it.
